DIFFICIL-S® has been independently tested by NHS laboratories to give at least a 5 log
reduction of 99.999% in Clostridium difficile (including spores), MRSA, Norovirus, Listeria, E.coli, Salmonella, Pseudomonas,
Mycobacteria (tubercle bacilli) and other pathogens. DIFFICIL-S® has received a Recommendation Two from the Department of Health's Rapid Review Panel
STABILITY
DIFFICIL-S® was found to still be producing at or above its target chlorine dioxide output for a 1:400 dilution of 300ppm after 30 months storage at 35° in the original sachets.
If DIFFICIL-S® is prepared at a 1:400 dilution with cold water and stored in a sealed container over a 14 day period, it maintains its chlorine dioxide content in solution and the efficacy is unchanged.
